Dr. Thompson specializes in the assessment of learning and cognitive disabilities, including disorders of attention and social development (e.g., Autism Spectrum Disorders and Nonverbal Learning Disorder) for children (age 4 years and older), teens and young adults. She maintains her skills and keeps up-to-date with scientific advances by reading the scientific literature, attending professional trainings/workshops, and consulting with colleagues.
